This was a very nice race benefiting a good cause. This was on Cumberland High School's XC course. I didn't know we would be running on trails so it threw me for a loop but sometimes doing something different is good. It was a nice course couple of decent hills but brutal winds and temps made it very difficult today and slowed me down. Nonetheless i'm glad I got in the race. |

Started off a little slow, but still was a fast first mile and ran a negative split my last mile. The first hill is a sneaky one at the beginning and then a longer one comes right after so starting off a little slower seemed to pay off. All and all I worked hard to train for this this and I'm glad it worked it out. |

However still a decent race and strung together two back to back weekends of solid running in over a decade. Just have to take the good with the bad it's all part of the process. |
