Falmouth Road Race - Falmouth, MA - August 12, 2012 - From Mike: The race was pretty good with some logisitical issues at the finish. The start was delayed by approximately 10 minutes due to the heavy rain that preceded the race. They actually had to pump out part of some of the course due to requirements from the Town of Falmouth. It was deceptively humid and the temp just kept rising as we ran. Thankfully the sun was at a minimal and it was overcast until I finished. The water stops were great and residents had their hoses on for the runners, which is always a nice touch. The issues for me, started at the end of the race. Water seemed to take forever to get once you crossed the finish line. The runners "finish" area was crowded with spectators and family making the already limited space, very tough to move around in. Hooking back up with family was near impossible. Other than the finish, I really did have a good time and may run this again in the future.
