Bill Rodgers - TVFR is pleased to kick off their 2016 speaker series with none other than Bill Rodgers! Members and non-members are welcome to join us on Wednesday, February 10th at Pinz in Milford, starting at 7 pm (doors open at 6:30). Bill is best known for his four victories in the Boston Marathon, including three straight 1978-1980 and the New York City Marathon between 1976 and 1980 and is a local hero and legend. Bill will join us to speak about his experiences as a runner and answer audience questions. He'll also be available to sign his book, "Marathon Man," which retails for $27, and his poster, "Relentless, showing him winning the 1979 Boston Marathon, which retails for $20. People are welcome to have these items signed and personalized. Cost is $5 at the door. Please sign up if you plan to attend.
