TVFR on the Run

 

Friday Evening Rail Trail Runs - Starting this week, this event has been moved to Friday so as to not conflict with Wednesday track workouts.  It's also earlier in the evening (6:15 PM), so you won't need a headlamp.  Run along the rail trail and then hang out in the local pub.  Sign up for the May 24 run.

Race Results - Updated May 20 with the Yarmouth PD 5K and May 18 with the Hopedale Blue Raider 5K (Let me know if I missed anyone) and the Strawberry Shortcake 10K results.

TVFR Member Running Blogs - Now available for reading from our new blogs page.  Follow your fellow members on their running adventures!  If you'd like to have your running blog included as well, please email me.

SRR Marathon Relay, June 22 The club is gathering a 26-person team to compete in this event against other local running clubs.  Each team member will run one mile on a track.  Lots more info and sign up.  New May 6: Hundreds of Ted Tyler photos from the 2012 event.  As of May 16, we have our quota of 26 runners!  Nonetheless, some folks will inevitably have to drop out, so you can still sign up as an alternate.  Please do so!

Wednesday Night Track Workouts - Next session May 22 at 6:15 pm, Milford track. Sign up

May TVFR Grand Prix Races - Hopedale Blue Raiders 5K on May 18 and Team Hoyt 5K on May 23.

June TVFR Grand Prix Races - Sharon Timlin Memorial 5K on June 15 and SRR Marathon Relay on June 22.

The Tri-Valley Frontrunners (TVFR) is a 32-year-old running club representing and welcoming male and female runners of all ages and abilities from many eastern and central Massachusetts towns.  Members determine their level of commitment to running and choose from many training and social opportunities to achieve it. TVFR organizes and participates in an array of running events, from local road races (5k to the marathon), fun runs, trail runs, track work outs, group training runs, and more.  We invite you to take a look around our website. We're sure that you will find something for you. Whatever your reason for running, TVFR has the match for you.

TVFR meets on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m.  Minutes available here.  These meetings are open to all members.  The next meeting is:

The annual dues are $15.00 per year for an individual and $20.00 per year for a family. There are two ways to register your individual or family club membership.  For information regarding membership, you may go to our membership page and print out a form to mail to the TVFR, or register online.   If you have any questions feel free to contact us by email.
